At Cuppy’s we think it is a great idea that Starbucks is properly training their baristas. That is what specialty coffee is all about–pulling the perfect shot of espresso everytime! I wonder if they will do away with the automated machines they are using as well, and replicate the authentic barista experience… It is interesting to see how the public reacted to the 3 hours of no Starbucks last night! See what Advertising Age is saying about the “PR stunt.”
Fortunately, at Cuppy’s Coffee our baristas have already been trained to hand-pull the perfect shot of espresso so we were able to benefit from Starbucks’ closed door training last night.
